church service

Sundays at 10:30am

We believe our blended worship experience is a catalyst for moving the heart and life of people into a passionate pursuit of following Jesus. Music, in particular, has a way of moving and softening the heart and soul, and moves us into deep and passionate worship of God. Our worship experience offers solid Biblical preaching & teaching, uses multimedia, and a loving community of Jesus followers.

How long are Sunday services? About 60 minutes, depending on what the Holy Spirit has in store. Stay after the service to connect.

What do I wear? As long as your heart is right, what you wear doesn't matter.

What about my kids?  Bring them along to worship with you or check them into our Children's Ministry. We offer childcare for infants to 5 years of age (we call it Little Sneakers), and we have a worship experience for elementary aged kids, kindergarten-5th Grade (we call them 4th Street Kidz). Our Child Check-In Desk is located near the cafe, just follow the signs!

Where do I park?  We have special spots reserved for you right by the front doors on Fourth Street! We also have street parking and permission to use the parking lot across the street (next to the Davison Library and city offices).

how to find us...

What is the meaning of baptism? Baptism is important for a number of reasons. One reason is that it illustrates Christ's burial and resurrection (1 Cor. 15:3-4; Col. 2:12). Another reason is that it illustrates your new life as a follower of Jesus Christ (2 Cor. 5:17; Rom. 6:4; Eph. 2:8-9). It's important to note that baptism doesn't make you a believer in Jesus, nor does it save you. Baptism is your pubic expression, or outward symbol (like a wedding ring), that expresses the commitment you've made to surrender your life to Jesus Christ.

Why do we baptize by immersion? We baptize by immersion because Jesus was baptized by immersion (Matt. 3:16), and because the predominant pattern of baptism throughout Scripture is by immersion (Acts 8:38-39). In a way, baptism by immersion best symbolizes the burial of the dead self, and the resurrection of the new life in Jesus Christ.

Who should be baptized? Any and every person who makes the decision to follow Jesus (Acts 2:41; Acts 8:12-13).

When should I be baptized? As soon as you have made the decision to surrender your life to Jesus Christ (Acts 2:41; Acts 8:35-38).

Can my family be baptized together? Yes! If each family member understands fully the meaning and significance of baptism, and each one has personally placed their trust in Jesus Christ for salvation, we encourage families to be baptized together. It's an extraordinary expression of commitment to Jesus, and a testament to His power of Grace.
